Loved the comfy bed, but the noise from drinkers was annoying.

We had a lovely wee stay in room 6, comfy bed and amazing breakfast with smoked kippers, but the stairs were a mission, eh?

my stay was utterly disappointing. there was no wardrobe or even a hook to hang my clothes, which is frankly shocking, and the noisy drinkers outside made sleep impossible. i also expected a complimentary welcome gift, but clearly, that kind of special treatment was too much to ask. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but just couldn't.

Noise from drinkers and cars outside created a disturbance late into the night. Stuffy room with no fan, two steep flights of stairs to climb, and poorly attached shower glass rubber. Sign-up needed for basic TV access and annoying bright lighting made it less cozy.

The hotel has a warm atmosphere, and the breakfast was truly exceptional, featuring the best smoked kippers I've ever tasted.

Parking can be difficult at times.

I had a lovely stay in a cozy room that was very well decorated and clean. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the toiletries were a delightful bonus. Breakfast was a standout, featuring the best smoked kippers I've ever tasted, and the owner's willingness to accommodate us was truly appreciated. it could be improved with better noise control at night, as it got a bit loud outside after closing time.
